Find information about tickets, booking conditions, opening hours, requirements, and ticket delivery.
How and when will I receive my tickets?
After completing your purchase, you will receive a confirmation email with your booking details.
Tickets will be sent by email up to 24 hours before the visit or, if you book less than 24 hours in advance, up to 1 hour before the visit.
For guided tours, tickets may be provided directly at the meeting point. If you book a combined experience, you may receive the tickets for each monument separately and at different times.
Can I use digital tickets?
Yes. You can present your tickets directly from your mobile phone, provided the QR code is clearly readable. There is no need to print them.
Why do I need to provide the visitors' details?
Tickets to the Colosseum are nominative. For this reason, the first and last name of each visitor are required, and it may also be necessary to provide identity document details. Please check the information before submitting it, as changes are subject to the booking conditions.
Can I cancel my booking?
No. Once the booking request has been made, it is not possible to change the name, date or time, or cancel the tickets. Refunds are also not available for personal, medical or work-related reasons, or due to trip cancellation.
These conditions are displayed during the purchase process and must be accepted before completing the booking.
The only exception is if the monument closes. In this case, you will automatically receive a 100% refund of the ticket amount through the same payment method used for the purchase.
Can I exercise the right of withdrawal?
No. Under current consumer regulations, the right of withdrawal does not apply to services related to leisure or recreational activities scheduled for a specific date.
What payment methods can I use?
During the purchase process, you can check the available payment methods. In general, you can pay by bank card and, when enabled, via Google Pay or Apple Pay. All transactions are carried out through a secure payment environment.
What should I do if an error occurs during payment?
Check that your payment details are correct and that your bank has authorised the transaction. If the payment is not completed, try again after a few minutes or use another available payment method. Before making the purchase again, check your email and bank transactions to confirm that a booking has not already been created. If the problem persists, contact our support team.
I haven't received the confirmation or tickets. What should I do?
Check your spam, junk and promotions folders and make sure the email address provided during the purchase is correct. Please take into account the delivery time indicated for the experience. If that period has already passed and you still have not received the documentation, contact our team and provide your booking reference.
What do the tickets include?
The content of the booking depends on the option selected. Before completing your purchase, you can check the monuments, areas, services and resources included, as well as anything that is not part of the experience. Always check the "What's included" section on the product page.
What documentation do I need?
All visitors must present an original and valid identity document. The details must match those provided during the booking, as the tickets are nominative.
Photocopies or digital copies of the document are not accepted. Minors must also carry their own documentation and be accompanied by an adult.
What is the difference between booking on the official website and booking with Feel The City?
With Feel The City, you can check up-to-date availability for visiting the Colosseum and book easily and securely. You will receive confirmation of your purchase once the booking is completed, together with clear instructions and all the information you need to prepare for your visit with peace of mind.

How does the audio guide work and what languages is it available in?

What do I need to use the audio guide during the visit?

What does the combined ticket include?
The booking includes access to the monuments and the services specified in the experience. Before completing your purchase, check which areas are included, whether each visit includes an audio guide and the scheduled times for each admission.
Do the visits to the different monuments take place on the same day?
The date and times for each monument are indicated during the booking process and in the purchase confirmation. Check this information before booking and take into account the time needed to travel between the different sites.
How much time do I need to complete the combined experience?
The time required depends on the recommended duration for each monument and the distance between them. Check the experience information and allow enough time for travel and access controls.
Are the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill accessible to people with reduced mobility?
The Colosseum has an accessible route covering much of the first level, with access to the second level by lift. Accessible routes are available in the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill, although the terrain includes uneven sections and some slopes. If you need assistance or have specific requirements, check the conditions of the experience before booking.

The expected time inside the Colosseum with the Full Experience Arena option is up to 90 minutes. It is recommended to allow approximately another 2 hours to explore the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill.
Is the time selected during the booking process final?
Due to high demand and in order to guarantee ticket availability, the final time may vary by up to 180 minutes before or after the time requested during the booking process. Once you receive your ticket, you must enter the Colosseum at the confirmed time shown on it.
Can I visit other levels of the Colosseum with this ticket?
No. The ticket only allows access to the Arena level for approximately 20 minutes. It does not include access to the seating areas or the Colosseum Underground.

Do I have to go through security checks to enter?

Can I enter with backpacks or luggage?
Only hand luggage measuring no more than 30 × 40 × 15 cm is permitted. The Colosseum Archaeological Park does not have a cloakroom or luggage storage facility, so you should avoid bringing suitcases, large backpacks or other bulky items.
